The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is a deluxe hotel located around a 5 minutes walk from the Disneyland park.
We were very lucky to stay in a Kingdom Club (club level) room during our trip in September 2019. The only downside? We stayed one night, not nearly enough. This trip to Hong Kong Disneyland was one of the best Disney experiences I have ever had. You can read about that trip here.
On our previous trip to Hong Kong, we stayed at Explorer’s Lodge and during that trip we were lucky enough to dine at Enchanted Garden for a breakfast buffet and The Crystal Lotus. We toured the hotel and grounds but didn’t get to look in the rooms.
We booked our stay around 12 months out. Although there are various discounts offered through out the year, we did not get a discount for the Kingdom Club room.
Pulling up in our taxi to the front of the hotel, cast members were eagar to open the doors, take our bags and show us to the front desk. As we were staying Kingdom Club, we had to check in on the club level floor, floor 7, which is only available with a special room key. We were escorted up to floor 7 to check in. During the check in process we were given some juice and biscuits. Included in the package are fastpasses and priority seating for Mickey and the Wondrous Book. The park was so quiet we did not use any of the 8 fastpasses included in the package.
In the Club Level room where you check in, is also a private concierge, we did not use this service but here you can book dining reservations, taxis, etc. During the day there is complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with sweet treats. There are plenty of tables, chairs and sofas to sit at and relax through out the day.
Once we were checked in, we we shown to our room and bags were brought behind us. The room took my breath away, honestly. It was just so beautiful. It was large and welcoming. By far my favourite hotel room of the trip, even more so than Hotel Mira Costa which is inside Tokyo DisneySea,
The room had a large balcony that overlooked the pool. A coffee machine and complimentary robes and slippers. Also in the room we were given a Summer bag with slippers, towels and an amenity kit to keep.
The bathroom was by far my favourite part of the room, there was a large bath and sink area, I was taken aback by the size of the separate shower, if you watched my Instagram stories you would have heard that reaction. The bathroom mirror had the Seven Dwarfs hidden in the frame and the amenities in the bathroom were Seven Dwarf themed.
A special something to those choosing to stay Kingdom Club, is a night time story read by a cast member in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. A Disney character also visits in their pyjamas for a photo with guests. I was secretly hoping for Duffy in his pjs, however Minnie Mouse was the surprise character.
We got up early the next day for breakfast before entering the park and took advantage of the complimentary breakfast, of course Mickey waffles!
I can honestly say the service and experience within the hotel during this one nights stay is by far the best I have ever received. I was overwhelmed at some points and if I ever return to Hong Kong Disneyland, Kingdom Club is the only option for hotel stay.
Have you stayed at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel? What about Kingdom Club? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
