It is almost Halloween, well for Walt Disney World it is. The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party started in 6 months.
It seems that Disney have started listening to guests complaints from last year and have decided to announce a new firework show that will replace Hallowishes and include three new attraction overlays.
Last years attraction overlays included, Space Mountain, Mad Hatters Tea Party and Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Caribbean was not received well with guests. However this years attraction overlays include the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland, and the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. While we don’t know any details on what these overlays will consist of just yet, we are hoping they will be more substantial than last year’s offerings.
The new fireworks and projection spectacular will include many of the new tricks and treats that came with Happily Ever After, like state of the art projection mapping, laser lights, and lighting.
I used to love Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, though in recent years, parties are over crowded and carbon copies of the year before. I hope the parties include the major revamp they deserve.
