Today, Shanghai Disneyland announced a new early park entry pass.
Guests with a valid park ticket who purchase an Early Park Entry Pass can enter Shanghai Disneyland up to one hour prior to the published park opening time. Which is fantastic, hotel guests currently receive 30 minutes early access, which is a ‘crucial’ part of your day, (I say crucial because you want to get your day off to a good start). You can have early access to the fastpasses, attraction queues and character meet and greets.
(Storybook Castle, during the 30 minute early entry for hotel guests, whilst everyone ran to the attractions, I went around taking photos).
The Shanghai Disneyland website states, the number of open attractions and Merchandise Shops is subject to availability on the day. (The number of open attractions may vary from day to day due to scheduled maintenance or other unforeseen circumstances).
An Early Park Entry Pass costs RMB 99 (£11) for a pre-arrival purchase (ends at 23:59 China Time, a day before the visitation day) and RMB 149 (£16) for a same day purchase per person. Children below 1.0m do not require an Early Park Entry Pass when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
