Disney Springs Resort area hotels extend benefits through 2019

Do you want to stay on Disney property, with the Disney perks and without the Disney prices? Well you can….

Through 2018 guests staying at the seven resorts that make up the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels have not only enjoyed being walking distance from Disney Springs, but have also enjoyed some benefits typically reserved only for Disney-owned Resort guests.

Guests staying at these seven resorts in 2018 have been able to participate in Extra Magic Hours in Disney parks, and have been able to book their FastPass+ attractions 60 days ahead of their vacation (versus 30 days for those staying in non-Disney resorts), and now these benefits have bene extended through December 31, 2019. Amazing news. The following Disney Springs area hotels included many Disney perks and benefits.

  • B Resort & Spa
  • Best Western Lake Buena Vista
  • DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando
  • Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
  • Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
  • Holiday Inn Orlando
  • Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista

Guests staying at these seven resorts can link their hotel reservation on the My Disney Experience app — and with a linked, valid theme park ticket, have the ability to make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to arrival. Guests are also able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours.

The hotels provide free transportation to the parks, departing every 20-30 minutes from each hotel. The booking does not come with free magic bands nor can the Disney Dining Plan be added to a reservation.

What are your thoughts on the benefits being extended? Do you regularly stay in these hotels over Disney resorts? Are you annoyed that more people are getting access to the 60+ days for fast passes? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
