School Bread review

School Bread, located in EPCOT‘s Norway’s favourite treat, you will find the snack in Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, the bakery has been recently renovated, the building itself has doubled inside which allows a better customer flow and stops guests queuing outside.

The renovation itself lasted around 5 months, reopening in the Summer and in that time the School Bread could be found at the kiosk Midnattssol Bakeri.

Kringla Bakeri Of Kafe offers, troll horns, giant pretzels, Frozen inspired cupcakes and of course the School Bread.

The School Bread is a spiced sweet bun, with flavours such a cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves baked in to the bread, a thin layer of icing help stick the coconut shavings on with a dollop of cold custard on top and inside.

This was the first time I tried this snack, I liked it but I didn’t love it, the bread and coconut was really nice and I’m not even a coconut fan. The flavours in the bread and sweetness of icing and coconut works well together. My main issue was the custard, it was so cold, so cold, yes it had been kept in a fridge, but biting it and the surprise of the cold custard inside I did not like or enjoy, perhaps I would have if it was at room temperature. Sam on the other hand enjoys it and has at it on many occasions. It is one of his favourite things to eat in EPCOT.

Have you visited the new Kringla Bakeri? Have you had the School Bread from there? What are your thought? Let me know in the comments.
