I finished work yesterday to be surprised by some Disney mail when I came home.
When you book a Disney holiday through the Walt Disney website you should expect a lovely little pack in the post it comes with a booklet, luggage tags and money off coupons. It might not seem a lot or even underwhelming to some, but it lets me know that my Disney holiday is less that 30 days away.
This year we qualified for a $100 gift as part of the package offer we booked. You receive a coupon in the pack that you then redeem at World of Disney in Disney Springs, simply present this along with you photo ID.
For a first timer, the booklet is great, inside is pull out maps of each park, hints and tips at each park, things to do, a break down of dining, Florida weather charts and what to wear/pack. Although all this information is readily available online, it really gets you in the mood for your trip.
The pack also comes with luggage tags, we have 4 as there are 2 of us travelling. 1 each for hand luggage and a suitcase. There are different designs with Disney characters and a space to write you personal contact information on.
There is a Magical Extra Card that you can take with you on your trip where you can receive 10%, 15% or even 20% off certain dining, merchandise and coffee locations. I have already planned out which ones I will use and when. Basin and Joffrey’s will not know what hits them when I come.
Have you booked your trip through the Disney website? Do you get excited getting your Disney mail? How many days until you leave? Let me know in the comments.
